Lakewood, N.J. - Head coach Michael Murawski is pleased to welcome Henry Jean Michel of Far Rockaway, Queens, New York as the latest member of the Georgian Court University Men's Track & Field Class of 2022.

Jean Michel, a 5'11" hurdler and sprinter, joins the Lions after competing scholastically at Franklin K. Lane High School, a hurdle program that has received national ranking.

Henry will be a great addition to our team this year," stated Coach Murawski. "He is an explosive athlete with raw talent.  He is self-driven and motivated to become the best athlete possible.  I have very high hopes for him and I believe he will provide huge depth for us in many events."

Also a former captain of the football team, Henry "felt very welcomed to GCU and the track & field team" and sees himself "being successful at Georgian Court." 

"I am a determined young student that has grown and come a long way during high school," added Henry. "I can have unfortunate difficulties at times, but I will never give up."
