Lakewood, N.J. - Head Coach Nicole Degenhardt announced today that Annabella Truelove of Hamilton, N.J. is the newest member of the Georgian Court University Softball Class of 2025.

"Bella is going to be a great addition to the Georgian Court University softball program," shared Coach Degenhardt. "Her power at the plate will make an impact to our lineup right away. I am very excited to work with her over the coming years."

Currently a senior at Steinert High School, the two-sport athlete plays first base for the Spartans. Bella also played four seasons of varsity field hockey. A First-Team All-Group III, First-Team All-Area, and Second-Team All-State selection in 2018, Truelove lead Steinert to softball titles in the state sectionals, state championship tournament, and the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions as a sophomore.

The slugger also earned 2019 Offensive Player of the Year accolades her junior campaign and shared a Mercer County Tournament crown with her teammates. 

Looking to major in exercise science once at Georgian Court, the future physical therapist chose the royal and gold because "I love how the school is close to home so my parents can come watch me play. The campus is a great size for me, as well."
