Lakewood, N.J. - Head Coach Nicole Degenhardt announced today that Brooke Bachonski of Old Bridge, N.J. is the newest member of the Georgian Court University Softball Class of 2025.

"Brooke is a great addition to our middle infield as she is fast with great hands," stated Coach Degenhardt. "Her aggressive base running and speed will be key assets to our offense. She is extremely coachable, and has a great attitude and love for the game. I look forward to working with Brooke over the next four years!"

Currently a senior at Old Bridge High School, Brooke plays both shortstop and outfield for the Knights. 

An honor roll student and future teacher, Bachonski plans to major in education upon her arrival at Georgian Court next fall. Brooke selected GCU because "everything was the perfect fit" and plans be a balanced collegiate student-athlete in the classroom and on the diamond.
