Lakewood, N.J. - Head coach Dan Sempkowski announced today that Chelsea Ross of Jackson, N.J. will be joining the Georgian Court University women's volleyball program this fall as the newest member of the Lions.

"We are extremely excited to witness Chelsea's development as a Georgian Court student-athlete," stated Coach Sempkowski. "She comes in rating as one of most athletic individuals we have had in my nine years. The sky is the limit for Chelsea, she will be a top offensive threat in the CACC."

The 6'0" middle blocker starred at Jackson Liberty High School where the senior also competes on the Lions' spring track & field squad.

Looking to major in psychology once at Georgian Court, the honor student chose GCU because "the University's atmosphere kind of called me there. I feel like it was meant to be."
