Glassboro, N.J. - The Georgian Court University women's track & field squad secured no less than 30 top-10 performances (four of which were first-place finishes) in an all-around solid showing at Saturday's Rowan University Bill Fritz Invitational.
Aretha Edwards accounted for one of the Lions' first-place results, winning the 100m Dash (12.57 seconds). The Jersey City, N.J. native also placed third in the 200m Dash (26.41 seconds). Both marks were season-bests for the junior sprinter.
Haley Amogretti took the top spot in the 400m Hurdles at 1:08.98, while also finishing fourth in the 100m Hurdles at 15.75 seconds, as the sophomore also registered a pair of season-bests.
Tiffany Parajon soared to a first-place height of 1.48 meters in the High Jump and launched a new personal record in the Javelin with a fourth-place throw of 29.57 meters.
Stephanie Bock continues to dominate as the senior placed first overall in the Discus (41.97m), while taking second and third, respectively, in the Shot Put (11.81m) and Hammer Throw (45.34m). The shot put effort was a season-best for the Howell, N.J. native.
