Lakewood, N.J.- Head coach
Jim Moore announced today that
Allison Loper of Bensalem, Pa. will be joining the Georgian Court University women's soccer program this fall as the newest member of the Lions' class of '25.
Loper, a 5'4" midfielder, will graduate from Nazareth Academy High School where she competes in soccer and track for the Pandas. Allison, a four-year varsity starter, served as soccer team captain her senior season and was an Athletic Association of Catholic Academies (AACA) first-team selection last two years. Also a star in the classroom, Loper is a member of the Science National Honor Society and a participant in numerous community service activities.
"Allison is a technical center midfielder who fits our system very well," stated Coach Moore. "Her ability to play quickly and move the ball will be a tremendous benefit to our offense. Allison comes from a high-level club program. Her experience with playing against the best players in the region will make for a smooth transition to the CACC."
Looking to study physical therapy and personal training and open her own facility and fitness center one day, Loper said this about attending Georgian Court: "I decided to attend GCU because of how open and welcoming Coach Moore was throughout the recruiting process. The University's exercise science program will prepare me for graduate school, which was an important factor in my decision. I wanted to go somewhere that I would thrive and be able to meet new people, but stay close to home ... Georgian Court is the perfect fit for me!"
