New Haven, Conn. - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) released its 2020-21 Softball All-Academic Team Thursday, a list that includes four honorees from Georgian Court University.
Caitlin Hughes earns her third-straight selection to this elite list as the business administration major registered a grade-point average of 3.62.
Samantha Fohrman (Criminal Justice, 3.56),
Mikayla Gilgert (Social Work, 3.68),
Jody Ann Thomas (Finance, 3.78) each recorded their first acclaim on the team.Â
In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic Team, recipients must have participated in a CACCÂ championship sport. They must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, be in there second year with the program, and achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the spring semester of 2021.
The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is an NCAA Division II Conference composed of 13 institutions in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The member institutions are Bloomfield College, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican (N.Y.) College, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Jefferson, Nyack College, Post University of Waterbury, University of the Sciences, and Wilmington University.
