Noah Roach erased the program record in the 100m Dash, and 13 Lions recorded Top-10 finishes, as Georgian Court University enjoyed a collective effort this weekend with its first-ever appearance in the Towson University Invitational.
Roach authored a time of 10.89 seconds in the 100m preliminaries, besting the previous mark of 11.14 seconds established by Charles Wolef-Fields just short of three years ago (4/6/19, Millersville Metrics).
Kyle Spector enjoyed a fourth-place finish in the 3000m Steeplechase (10:18.06) while taking 6th overall in the 800m Run (1:56.01).Â
In field action,
Robbie Babson was the runner-up in the Shot Put with a heave of 15.36 meters. Teammate
Alejandro Valdez took seventh in the event at 14.55 meters.
Jan Volkmar also recorded a second-place finish, doing so in the Pole Vault at 4.36 meters.
The GCU trio of
Krzysztof Paczesny (3rd, 54.62m),
Joseph Sauchelli (4th, 52.97m), and
Kyle Muir (7th, 50.76) locked away Top-10 efforts in the Javelin.
