Ewing, N.J. - The Georgian Court University women's track & field squad closed out the outdoor regular season over the weekend with an in-state appearance at the TCNJ Lions Outdoor Invitational.
Rachel Pausz posted GCU's lone first-place finish of the meet with a top time of 14:01.54 in the rigorous 3,000m Steeplechase.
Aniyah Russell who represented the Lions in Friday's prestigious Penn Relays with a leap of 5.60 meters (14th-place) in the High Jump, scored second Saturday at TCNJ with a distance 5.89 meters in the event.
The tandem of
Jaison-Ashley Pleva (11.17m) and Elena Martinez Rodriguez (11.12m) placed third and fourth, respectively, in the Triple Jump.
Ginalee Erskine grabbed third in the Weight Throw with a heave of 46.77 meters while taking 10th in the Discus at 35.06 meters.
