LAKEWOOD, NJ (Dec 5, 2024) - Georgian Court Track and Field kicks off the 2024-25 indoor season tomorrow afternoon.

Previously
• Last season the Georgian Court men finished in fourth place at the ECC Championship.
• During the cross country season, the Lion men placed sixth while the women were seventh.
Who's Back?
• The men's team brings back a lot of talent from last year's team, including 11 sophomores.
• The entire throws group is back with
Robbie Babson,
Malicah Etienne,
Anthony Lorenzo and
Thomas Menegus.
• Sprinters will get a boost from a healthy
Wayne Robinson to lead a group that also includes
CJ Miranda,
Marcos Murillo-Benavides and
Nicholas Jordan.
• Julien Rodriguez is also back healthy after missing much of last year to help out with the vertical jumps and hurdles.
• The distance crew saw first-year
Nolan Kus lead the cross country team.
Ryan Pettrow scored for the Lions in two events at last year's outdoor conference meet.
• The women meanwhile also have a nice group of returners.
Chiamaka Wokocha and
Sabrina Halk are at the forefront of the throwing group.
•
Malama Toure heads up the horizontal jumps while the Lions will look forward to the returns of
Shalom Adzakro and
Nina Casalino is other field events.
• On the track,
Amirah Beasley has been a staple in the mid-distances. She's joined by
Molly Burns,
Madalin Jones,
Brenna Sullivan and
Samantha Lonseth as returners on the oval.
Who's New?
• The Georgian Court women brought in freshman in all event groups.
Adrianna Fodera will join the throws,
Jewel Pierrecharles as a sprinter/jumper,
Juliana Dogostino who competed in mulitple events as a prep athlete and cross country runner
Jurnee Tuttle.
• They also welcome transfers
Tishanna Cohen as a multi-event athlete and thrower
Kaydence Fischer.
• The men brought in eight freshman, four of those coming over from cross country.
Guius Dabney is a freshman thrower while
Karmjeet Nagara and
Brandon Rudder are sprinters.
• Transfers
Nolan Kus will help the distance crew and
Mark Linton adds to the throwers.
