Returning for GCU
• The women return three from last year's group -
Amirah Beasley,
Madalin Jones sand
Brenna Sullivan.
• Track and Field student-athlete
Samantha Lonseth is also moving up in distance and joining the cross country team.

Jurnee Tuttle is a freshman, running her first race with the Lions.
• For the men it's quite the opposite with two returners and a host of newcomers.
Joe Jamolawicz and
Ryan Pettrow are the veterans on the squad.
• They'll be joined by freshmen
Colin Broadbelt,
Luke McCormick,
Matthew Schaub and
Zachary Spoonire.

Nolan Kus is a graduate transfer from Division I Quinnipiac.
Lions in the Record Books
• Although they aren't running these distances, three of the returners are on the Lions all-time best-of lists.
• Beasley ranks 17th among the women in the 5K. Pettrow is 10th and Jamolawicz 12th in the 8K for the men.Â
Track Carry-Over
• The Lions are hoping some of their success from the 2024 track and field season will carry over onto the cross country course.
• At the CACC Championships last May, Beasley took second place in the 800m running a huge personal-best 2:18.04.
• Pettrow placed in two events on the track coming in third at 1500m and sixth at 800. Jamolawicz finished 12th in the 5K.
