LAKEWOOD, NJ (Dec. 1st, 2025) - Georgian Court presents this week's Kessler Athlete of the Week awards to Women's Basketball Niyell McCargo and Men's Basketball Amar Lane.   

Kessler is the official physical therapy partner of Georgian Court Athletics. Their team of movement experts will be on campus to provide athletic training services to the student-athletes. ⁣With over 10 physical therapy centers in the surrounding community, students, faculty and staff can experience the power of physical therapy close to campus.

McCargo went 6-7 from the floor and scored 13 points against Palm Beach Atlantic. Then the following day, she scored 14 points against Nova Southeastern. 

Lane shot 50% from the floor, had seven rebounds, six assists, and eight points against East Stroudsburg. On Saturday, he shot 57% from the floor, had three blocks and three steals, and scored nine points against Staten Island.
