KUTZTOWN, Pa. (Feb. 22, 2025) - There was only one member of Georgian Court Track and Field in action this weekend. Robbie Babson was in Kutztown for the Golden Bear Invitational.

Babson won the shot put throwing 53-8.5, which isn't far from a season-best. The mark came on his fifth attempt. He threw over 16m in all five of his legal marks, the most consistent he's thrown all season. 

Babson was the ECC shot put champion Sunday at the conference meet. He has one more meet on the schedule, Friday, Feb. 28 at the Fastrack Last Chance Invitational at Ocean Breeze in Staten Island.
