EWING, NJ (April 26, 2025) - Georgian Court Track and Field is hitting their peak at the right time. The Lions had an excellent showing at the Penn Relays and the TCNJ Outdoor Invitational in their final tune-up before the CACC Championships.
Penn Relays
Georgian Court sent just three to the Penn Relays.
Malicah Etienne competed in the shot put and discus. He was third in the discus throwing 166-6 and 21st in the shot put at 48-5.25.
Robbie Babson also had a top-10 finish placing fifth throwing the shot put 54-5.25 which is an outdoor personal-best.
Mark Linton threw the discus 153-11. for 19th place.
TCNJ Outdoor Invitational
Throws
• All three of those came right back to compete at the TCNJ Invite. Linton had a huge PR in the discus, setting a new school record, winning the event with his throw of 172-5. He's the first Lion to ever throw the discus 170 feet and hit an NCAA qualifying mark. He took 14th place as well in the shot put throwing 44-1.25.
• Etienne had two top-three finishes. He was second behind Linton in the discus throwing 163-8 and third in the shot put at 51-2.25.
• Babson was the winner of the shot put throwing 53-5.75.

Anthony Lorenzo was the only other Lion on the men's side to compete in the throws. He was 19th in the shot put throwing 42-1.25.
• On the women's side, GCU had another event winner in
Ava Reardon. She won the javelin throwing 139-1 which is a personal-best and moves her to third all-time at GCU.

Adrianna Fodera threw in three events at TCNJ. She was 11th in the javelin at 98-1, 19th in the shot put at 36-5.5, an outdoor personal-best and 22nd in the hammer throw at 125-5.

Kaydence Fischer had a top-10 finish in the discus throwing 132-0 for seventh place. She was also 20th in the shot put at 36-2.

Sabrina Halk and
Chiamaka Wokocha each threw the discus and hammer throw. Halk was 28th in the hammer throw at 99-9 and 29th in the discus at 95-9 while Wokocha was 21st in the hammer throw with her mark of 131-8 and 27th in the discus throwing 97-2.
Distance
• Linton wasn't the only Lion setting a school record.
Amirah Beasley set a new record in the 1500m where she took second place in 4:54.64.Â
• In the 800m,
Jurnee Tuttle was 37th in 2:38.51 and
Samantha Lonseth 52nd in 3:04.27.
• Three Lion men distance runners set personal-bests. In the 800m,
Ryan Pettrow was 18th running 1:58.91.
Zachary Spoonire wasn't far behind in 22nd place, breaking 2:00 for the first time running 1:59.79 and entering the GCU top-10 at ninth all-time.
Abdullah Brown finished the 800m in 2:25.36 for 66th place.

Joe Jamolawicz led the GCU men at 5,000m. He ran a personal-best 16:11.81 which moves him to seventh all-time at GCU.

Nolan Kus was 16th in 16:56.16, Matthew Schuab was 19th in 17:33.28 and
Luke McCormick 22nd in 19:05.90.
Jumps
• The personal-bests kept coming.
Ivan Ramos-Lopez jumped 13-7.25 in the pole vault for a PR and finished fourth overall.

Sean Donnamaria was seventh jumping 12-7.5
•
Tishanna Cohen hit an outdoor PR in the triple jump. She was seventh jumping 36-4.75. She also matched a GCU PR in the long jump at 15-10.25 which was good for 19th overall.
•
Jewel Pierrecharles also compete in the triple jump and was 10th jumping a personal-best 35-5 which moves her to eighth all-time at Georgian Court.
•
Juliana Dogostino took 15th place in the high jump after clearing 4-8.25
Sprints/Relays
• Pierrecharles set a pair on personal-bests on the day. She also hit one in the 100m running 12.91 which was good for ninth place. She took 15th in the 200m running 26.79.
•
Leela McConnell ran her best at 200m finishing 30th in 28.22 for a PR. McConnell placed 27th at 100m in 13.70.
•
Molly Burns had a 20th place finish in the 400m running 1:04.74.
• The relay team of Beasley, Lonseth, Tuttle and Burns ran a season-best 4x400m, finishing third in 4:28.31.
•
Nick Jordan and
Joshua Tipaldo ran both the 100m and 200m. Jordan was 43rd at 100m in 11.77 and 38th at 200m in 23.94. Tipaldo 59th at 100m in 12.72 and 57th at 200m in 26.06.
•
Brandon Rudder led GCU in the 200m finishing 14th in 22.45. Wayne Robinson was 18th in 22.65.
•
Marcos Murillo-Benavides and
James McCoy finished back-to-back in the 400m. Murillo-Benavides was 30th in 53.25 while McCoy took 31st in 53.40.
• The 4x400m relay team of Spoonire, Pettrow, Kus and Jamolawicz ran 3:43.18 for sixth place.Â
Up next for Georgian Court is the CACC Championships. Those are held in Lakewood next weekend, Friday-Saturday, May 2-3.Â
