INDIANAPOLIS (June 25, 2025) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their Track and Field Academic All-District members this week. The Georgian Court women's team saw four earn the honor.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Track and Field Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The CSC requires both academic and athletic standards to maintain to be eligible for the Academic All-District Team. Student-athletes must have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.50 and be of sophomore or high academic standing. Nominees must have also have been in the top-50 in their region in at least one event either during the indoor or outdoor season or finished in the top-50 at the NCAA Regional Cross Country meet.

Molly Burns,
Kaydence Fischer,
Sabrina Halk and
Chiamaka Wokocha make the Academic All-District Team for the first time.
Burns has a 3.83 GPA studying Accounting. This season, she was in the top-50 in the East in the outdoor 400m having run 1:03.29.
Fischer was in the East Region top-50 in five throwing events during the indoor and outdoor season, more than any other Lion. Indoors she threw 37-3.25 in the shot put for 17th in the region and 39-9.25 in the weight throw putting her 36th. Outdoors she moved up to eighth in the region in the shot put throwing 39-8.5. She was also in the top-10 and an All-Region honoree in the discus throwing 139-11 and was 33rd in the hammer throw at 119-5. Fischer is in her first season at Georgian Court and has a 3.92 GPA in Exercise Science.
Halk hit two top-50 marks in the outdoor season. She was 21st in the discus throwing 113-3. She was also 30th in the hammer throw at 122-4. Halk was a senior student with a 3.97 GPA in Graphic Design.
Wokocha also was in the top-five both indoors and outdoor. Indoors her mark of 45-0.25 in the weight room had her 15th in the East. She was in the top-10 indoors in the discus throwing 128-5 and was 11th in the hammer throw at 146-2. Wokocha is a Biology major with a 3.61 GPA.
