INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 4, 2025) - Georgian Court's Baseball program saw it's first two members of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team announced this week. The first-year program put two on the team in junior Ryan Bilello and senior Alex Elliott. 

The 2025 Academic All-District® BaseballTeam, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The CSC requires both academic and athletic standards to maintain to be eligible for the Academic All-District Team. Student-athletes must have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.50 and be of sophomore or high academic standing. On the field, they must have played in at least 90% of regular season competition or started 66% of all games. Pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings. 

Bilello is a junior from Howell, NJ. He started the first ever game in program history. Bilello led the Lions this season making nine starts and pitching 40.2 innings with an 8.41 ERA and 19 strikeouts. He finished his first year at Georgian Court with a 4.0 GPA while studying Accounting.

Elliott made a big impact in his only season in Lakewood. The senior from Clarksville, MD led the Lions with 160 at bats and 50 hits. He drove in 25 runs and scored a team-high 32 times. Elliott finished his time at Georgian Court with a 3.94 GPA as a Business Administration major.
