LAKEWOOD, NJ (Jan.26th, 2026) - Georgian Court presents this week's Kessler Athlete of the Week awards to Women's Track and Field Daizhae` Brown and Men's Basketball Amar Lane. 

Kessler is the official physical therapy partner of Georgian Court Athletics. Their team of movement experts will be on campus to provide athletic training services to the student-athletes. ⁣With over 10 physical therapy centers in the surrounding community, students, faculty, and staff can experience the power of physical therapy close to campus.

Brown had a strong performance this past weekend, winning the long and triple jump and finishing third in the high jump, with personal bests in all three events. She opened with a winning long jump of 17-7 on her first attempt, a mark that ties her for fourth all-time at GCU. In the triple jump, her leap of 37-4.5 moved her from ninth to fifth on the program's all-time list. She capped the day by clearing 5-1 in the high jump on her final attempt, tying her for fifth in Lions history.

Lane delivered an efficient performance, scoring 13 points while shooting an impressive 71% from the field, and anchored the defense with seven blocks.
