Galloway, N.J. - Georgian Court University posted eight Top-3 performances this weekend as the Lions enjoyed a solid showing at the annual two-day Stockton University Osprey Open.
Shanae Rayside collected GCU's lone first-place finish with a win (11.67m) in the Triple Jump.
Elena Martinez Rodriguez finished as the runner-up in the event with an effort of 11.12 meters while also taking second in the High Jump at 1.60 meters.
Hanna Thrainsdottir followed with a third-place High Jump mark of 1.55 meters.
Aniyah Russell continues to dazzle in the Long Jump as the senior secured second-place at 5.68 meters. Rayside finished fourth overall at 4.88 meters.
Ginalee Erskine made a name for herself as the senior enjoyed Top-5 marks in three overall events, including: Javelin (3rd-33.81m), Hammer Throw (3rd-46.85m), and Discus (5th-37.32m). On the track,
Haley Amogretti sizzled for a second-place time of 15.63 seconds in the 100m Hurdles. The junior also scored a fourth-place time of 1:08.22 in the 400m Hurdles.
