INDIANAPOLIS (June 25, 2025) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their Track and Field Academic All-District members this week. The Georgian Court men's team saw five earn the honor.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Track and Field Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The CSC requires both academic and athletic standards to maintain to be eligible for the Academic All-District Team. Student-athletes must have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.50 and be of sophomore or high academic standing. Nominees must have also have been in the top-50 in their region in at least one event either during the indoor or outdoor season or finished in the top-50 at the NCAA Regional Cross Country meet.

Malicah Etienne,
Joe Jamolawicz,
Nolan Kus,
Ryan Pettrow and
Ivan Ramos-Lopez make the Academic All-District Team for the first time.
Etienne was in the regions top-50 in three events over the indoor and outdoor season. Indoors he was ninths in the shot put having throwing 49-7. He moved to sixth in the event indoors with a mark of 51-5.5 and was fourth in the discus throwing 166-9, good for All-Region honors. In the classroom, Etienne is a sophomore studying Criminal Justice with a 3.66 GPA.
Jamolawicz was in the top-five in a pair of events outdoors. He was 24th in the East having run 35:09.81 for 10,000m and 40th in the 5K with a mark of 16:11.81. The junior has a 3.75 GPA and is a Business Administration major.
Kus is a graduate student who joined Georgian Court for the first time in 2024-25. H has a 3.95 GPA and is also studying Business Administration. Indoors, Kus was 24th at 5,000m running 16:09.27. Outdoor, Kus was also in the top-50 in the 5K running 16:24.04. His 10,000m time of 35:40.76 was 31st in the region.
Pettrow is the only Lion on the Academic All-District Team to have made the top-50 in the region in two events indoors and two outdoors. Indoors, he was 18th in the 800m running 1:58.87 and ninth in the mile at 4:22.13. Outdoors, he also was in the top-50 at 800m running 1:58.91, and was 20th in the 1,500m running 4:02.51. Pettrow is a sophomore Exercise Science major with a 3.70 GPA.
Ramos-Lopez was the CACC Top-17 award winner for the student-athlete with the highest GPA at the Championship. The sophomore Business Administration major has a 3.95 cumulative GPA. He was in the top-50 in the pole vault both indoors and out jumping 12-11.75 during the indoors season and a personal-best 13-9.25 outdoors.
In addition to making the Academic All-District Team, Etienne, Kus, Pettrow and Ramos-Lopez were selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists. They'll advance to the national ballot to be voted on and released later this summer.
