• Most notably they come in the schedule and in the scoring.
• This season, the league has gotten rid of the 500m and 1,000m races.
• The scoring has also been extended out to the top-eight, from the top-six, which it had been for a number of years.

Championship History
• Georgian Court's men's team has won five ECC Championships.
• The women have won twice, coming in 2019 and 2020.

Previously at the ECC Championship
• Last year, the men finished in sixth place scoring 36 points.
• The women came in 11th with 10 points.
Robbie Babson in the shot put and Ryan Pettrow in the 1,000m were event winners for the Lions.
• Three returners scored for GCU last year in Tishanna Cohen in the jumps and Kaydence Fischer and Chiamaka Wokocha in the throws.

Squad Rankings
• The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their third national checkpoint of the indoor season.
• Part of that check point includes squad rankings.
• A "squad" is any event with at least four unique competitors. Their marks are then averaged and ranked nationally.
• For the men, they currently have the No. 25 squad in the shot put and the #26 squad in the weight throw.
• They rank first in the ECC in both events, first in the region in the weight and second in the East in the shot put.

Georgian Court Team Rankings
• Within the East Region, comprised of the ECC and Northeast-10, Georgian Court ranks ninth on both the men's and women's side.
• In the ECC Conference, GCU sits third on the men's side.
• The women are fifth in the league.

National Qualifiers
Mark Linton is the only Lion to have hit a national qualifying mark this indoor season.
• He's currently 40th in the NCAA with his mark of 60-5.75 in the weight throw.

New Look Top-10
